Governor Fayemi commissioned the Elderly People's Resort and Wellness Centre in Ekiti State on 13 October, 2022. In his words, the Centre is a testament to the commitment of our administration to prioritize the welfare of Ekiti-kete, particularly, our prides, the older citizens. This resort is equipped with modern facilities to provide a befitting environment for the relaxation, healthy living, and mental alertness of our senior citizens.

Fayemi lays foundation for Elderly People's Home

The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi has assured the people of the state that his administration would continue to make the welfare of the people especially the elderly top on its agenda.
Governor Fayemi stated this on Tuesday during the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the Elderly People's Resort in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital.
The multi-million naira project is being done in collaboration with the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs and billed for completion before the end of the year.
