The Construction Of The Ekiti Elders Recreation Centre Will Commence In 2021 And It Will Be Equipped With Ultra Modern Facilities For The Use Of Our Elders In The State

Our Assessment

This promise is rated completed. Construction of the Elders Recreation Centre commenced in 2021 as announced in the governor's New Year broadcast, fulfilling the promise.

Why it Matters

Elders are often neglected in infrastructure planning. A dedicated recreation centre with ultra-modern facilities provides senior citizens a space for social interaction, relaxation, and healthy aging. It recognises their contributions to society, combats isolation, and improves their quality of life. This promise demonstrates that the government values all generations, not just youth and working adults.
