Governor Seyi Makinde's campaign promise to establish livestock villages (poultry, pig, and fish villages) in agricultural zones during his first term (May 2019-May 2023) was not implemented as stated in the manifesto. 

 

The promise explicitly mentioned "Establishment of livestock villages e.g. poultry, pig and fish villages in agricultural zones of the state" as distinct settlement initiatives.

Instead, the administration integrated livestock production facilities, including poultry pens (2,000 capacity), goat and sheep pens (100 capacity each), and fish ponds (10,000 capacity), into the Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub rather than establishing dedicated livestock villages across agricultural zones.

This represents a fundamental departure from the campaign pledge to establish separate livestock villages. The project was absorbed into a broader agribusiness hub model rather than delivered as promised.
