Orphan and Vulnerable Children Education Support: Promise Unfulfilled

Governor Seyi Makinde's campaign promise to establish a dedicated Orphan and Vulnerable Children Education Support Program was not implemented during his first term (2019-2023). 

While the Roadmap to Accelerated Development 2019-2023 contained commitments to improve access for orphans and vulnerable children, no specific education support program targeting this population was formally launched or monitored with documented beneficiary figures during the first term period.
