Governor Seyi Makinde's campaign promise to commission bus terminals at Iwo Road, New Ife Road, Challenge, and Ojoo in 2021 was not met as stated. 

 

Construction of the four terminals was flagged off in May 2020 at a cost of N16.9 billion, with an initial 12-month completion projection. However, only two of the four terminals, Challenge and Ojoo, were commissioned on April 26, 2022, more than a year beyond the promised deadline.
